Janye Huisamen Biokineticists is a biokinetics practice based at Langhams Lifestyle Estate in Beverley, Sandton. We're looking for a full-time Biokineticist to join our team working across orthopaedic rehabilitation, chronic and neurological conditions and hydrotherapy.

Based in a multidisciplinary medical building, working alongside other healthcare professionals for a collaborative, holistic approach to patient care
Exposure across a broad scope of practice: orthopaedic rehab, chronic disease management, neurological conditions and hydrotherapy
Mentorship from an experienced Head Biokineticist, ideal if you want to build clinical confidence

The Role

Position: Fully Qualified Biokineticist (Full-Time)
Location: Langhams Lifestyle Estate, Beverley, Sandton (Fourways area)
Experience level: Newly qualified graduates through to 1 years' post-graduate experience
Reports to: Head Biokineticist / Practice Owner

What you'll be doing:

Conducting biokinetic assessments and designing individualised, evidence-based exercise rehabilitation programmes
Managing a caseload across orthopaedic rehabilitation, chronic conditions (e.g. arthritis, diabetes, cardiac) and neurological conditions
Running Discovery Vitality assessments for medical aid members
Assisting with hydrotherapy-based rehabilitation sessions
Maintaining accurate clinical records and medical aid billing/claims documentation
Collaborating with other practitioners in the medical building (chiropractors, physiotherapists, doctors) for integrated patient care

What We're Looking For

Essential:

BHSc or BSc degree in Biokinetics from an accredited South African university
Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Biokineticist
Membership with the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA)
Strong interpersonal skills and genuine care for patient outcomes
Own transport

Advantageous (not required):

Pilates instructor certification
Kinesiology taping certification
Sports therapeutic massage training or certification
Experience working with medical aid direct-claim billing
